Keith Langland, M.Div., M.A.
Counselor, Discipler, Care Pastor
Keith Langland is a Christian counselor and discipler who has spent decades walking alongside people through some of the most difficult seasons of life. His work in counseling and pastoral care dates back to 1990, when he began serving individuals and families through guidance, discipleship, and Christ-centered care. Keith has worked in both adult and adolescent substance abuse treatment facilities, helping people address addiction, trauma, and life challenges while pointing them toward hope, restoration, and spiritual growth.
Keith entered vocational ministry in 1999 and has continued serving in a variety of pastoral care and leadership roles since that time. Most recently, he served as a hospice chaplain, providing spiritual care, comfort, and counseling to patients and families facing end-of-life journeys. His ministry has consistently focused on presence, listening, discipleship, and helping others encounter God during both crisis and transformation.
Keith has also served in executive leadership within the local church, including roles at Christ’s Church Camden and Journey Bible Church, where he supported ministry operations and organizational leadership while continuing his passion for caring for people.
One of Keith’s most recognized spiritual gifts is what he often describes as simply “hanging out” with people. Through relational presence, encouragement, and authenticity, he has a unique ability to bring people together, galvanize teams, and build environments where individuals grow in faith and community. He has consistently invested in developing leaders, strengthening ministry teams, and helping people discover their place in God’s work.
Keith is currently serving at Church of Eleven22, where he leads a men’s discipleship group, coaches discipleship leaders, and supports the Care Team in ministering to the church community. His heart remains focused on discipleship, pastoral care, and equipping others to walk faithfully with Christ.
Keith was born and raised in South Dakota, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature, often finding that some of the most meaningful conversations and discipleship moments happen outside.
Family is central to Keith’s life and calling. He has been married to his wife since 1987, and together they have built a strong and faith-filled family. Keith is the father of five children and is blessed with three daughters-in-law and nine grandchildren. He treasures time with his family and sees his role as a husband, father, and grandfather as one of the most important ministries God has entrusted to him.
